Shoots: alternate, basal leaf arrangment; simple leaf type; dentate leaf margin; Pinnate leaf venation; linear, oblong, ovate leaf shape

Ecology & Natural History

Habitat: Species is distributed in shaded, moss-covered limestone boulders along stream borders in small rock canyons; vertical walls of limestone canyons. Species is distributed in limestone woods; hillsides.

ILPIN Notes: Stems are glabrous above the middle. Stems are hirsute, hairs are mostly simple. Species has stems with appressed, forked hairs.
