Habitat:

ILPIN Notes: Species is not recommended for cultivation due to suckers and roots blocking drains. Species spreads by underground suckers. Leaves are sparsely pubescent with gray under surface. Species infrequently escapes cultivation. Species is considered by some to be a hybrid between P. alba and P. tremula; also considered to be a variety of P. alba.
