Habitat: ILPIN Notes: Species has sprouts and cuttings; staminate catkins haven't been found. Species rarely escapes cultivation. Origin isn't known. Species is not recommended for cultivation due to suckers and roots blocking drains. Species is a hybrid between P. deltoides Marsh. & P. balsamifera L.; possibly part of P. X jackii Sarg.
