Status/Listing: Extinct Notes:Ebinger et al. 2010, say the following about this species in IL: "A weedy species of the southern United States that is rarely adventive in Illinois. Mohlenbrock (2002a) reported this species from woods in Perry County and in a cemetery in Jackson County. This species was last collected in Illinois in 1954 (Bowles et al. 1991). We found a Perry County specimen [1949, Evers(ILLS)], but none from Jackson County." Origin: Native
