Shoots: alternate leaf arrangment; compound, pinnately leaf type; serrate leaf margin; Pinnate leaf venation; linear, oblong, lanceolate leaf shape

Flowers: perfect; 5 merous; complete, regular; green, white; epigynous ovary position

Ecology & Natural History

Habitat: Open woods; sterile soil; found in a recently burned area.

Sharply bristled near base; leaves twice pinnate, several umbels in a terminal inflorescence. Southern range limit.
