Habitat: Species is distributed along railroads, roadsides.

ILPIN Notes: This is including var. paniculata (Ell.) Boiss. Flowers are arranged in a cyathium with white petaloid appendages. Regarding upland game birds food value, this pertians to wild turkey. Species may cause a dermatitis. Plant has a woody root.
