Ecology & Natural History
Habitat: Species is distributed in shaded situations. ILPIN Notes: Seed company number 2. Form- whole plants. Bark may be irritating to skin; fruit may have narcotic qualities; bark is used for baskets and tying. Flowers appear before leaves. Species is uncommon to rare.
