Habitat:

ILPIN Notes: Needles are in 2's, short, stiff, gray-green cones are short-ovoid to oblong, often curved; larger branches are orange brown. Species is occasionally encountered as an introduction. Species is resistant to city smoke; tolerant to soil conditions and moisture extremes. Cones mature in second autumn. Trees are sold as Christmas trees.
